Somnus The Great was named after Roman personification of sleep - god of sleep, brother of Death - Somnus. This Somnus The Great is a wise man, a wizard one comes to for guidance, help and understanding of one's own dreams - that realm between awake reality and fantasy, that realm built of reflections, symbols, feelings and all kinds of fantastic pictures and events. He knows where we go when we sleep. He knows the realms we travel through while asleep. Our dreams is his home.
