The Witch of NO - hanging art doll

€50.00

As soon as she got her body she lifted her arms and stretched back her palms in a clear "No". I played with her to figure out what she is about and whatever she (or I) did, it clearly showed 'no'. She is the witch of strong 'No'.

No to overworking. No to overthinking. No to avoiding looking problems in the eye. No to running away from oneself. No to numbing the feelings. No to getting offended. No to people pleasing. No to holding on to the pain of the past. No to events you don't want to participate in. No to uninvited advice and opinions affecting you. No to poor boundaries. No to ignoring the voice within. No to harming yourself. No to diminishing your light to fit in the box. No to staying indifferent to people around and the load they carry. No to apathy. No to invisibility. No to accepting negative influences. No to dragging others down. No to allowing the heaviness of the world crawl under your skin taking away your energy. No to walking away from those you can lift up. No to wearing yourself out. No to days without moments of rest. No to poor self-care. No to bs you clearly know is bs and doesn't serve you in any way (except if you can use it as a fertilizer in your garden). You can add to this list your "no to..." - as many as you like. You can also change the position of her arms and legs, but keep her hands up and stretched back - that’s her shield of NO.

"Protect yourself and your peace," she said. "Carry on and lift others up to raise together with you. Say 'no' to whatever doesn't allow you to do this."

From the bottom of her dancing feet to the tip of her hat she is 31cm tall/12.2” tall. Made of pre-loved and recycled materials. Her face is hand-sculpted and hand-painted. One of a kind art doll.
