Witch of the Wheel - standing art doll
Somewhere between Arianrhod, Cerridwen and Cailleach emerged this Witch of the Wheel. The wheel of the year - always spinning in her hands. The wheel of change, creative rotation, rhythm and flow. The wheel of cyclic nature of time. The silver wheel of birth, life and rebirth, portal of transformation, threshold between the past and the future. The wheel of ascends and descends, routine, repetition and progress. The Witch of the steering wheel - which direction are we going when we get out of the deepest, darkest, hibernation and resting time of the year or frozen stage of life? She has so much of the same, old, timeless Dark Goddess in her, yet instead of darkness she carries cold, but also light. Ice, but also water. Her tangled, messy hair is making her alive more than anything else. It's a waterfall - the symbol of dynamic movement and balance - pouring over an iceberg.
She is 31cm/12.2” tall standing doll. Her body is made of pre-loved and recycled materials. Her face - hand sculpted and hand-painted. One of a kind Witch of The Wheel art doll. Please, don’t comb the hair!
